To enable or disable Address AutoComplete, click the "Mail Options" link, located in the upper-right corner of the Webmail screen. From the "Personalization" category, choose "General Preferences." At the very bottom of the page you will see an AutoComplete setting, under "Message Actions."
Here you can turn AutoComplete on and off by selecting one of two options:
* Use Address AutoComplete (default)
* Do not use Address AutoComplete
You can change these settings at any time. Please note that when you turn off Address AutoComplete, this feature will be deactivated whenever you use the Webmail interface; your settings here are not linked to the individual computer on which you're working.
Make sure you're using a supported browser.
If you look above the "To:" field while composing an email and see no reference to Address AutoComplete, you are most likely using a browser that does not support this feature. You can still insert contacts from your Address Book by clicking on the "Insert addresses" or "To:" links.
Yahoo! Address AutoComplete works on Windows and Macintosh computers in the following browsers:
Windows: Internet Explorer 5+, Netscape 7.2+, Mozilla 1.4+
Mac: Mozilla 1.4+
